Plants require primary macros, nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium (NPK) in largest quantity then secondary macros, calcium-magnesium-sulfur (CMS) and finally micro nutrients, mostly metals plus boron and molybdenum (UltraTrace). In practice, micros are the limiting factor of growth followed by the secondary macros. That is, NPK cannot function properly without micros or secondary macros.
The ideal product is Economical, Efficient and Easy to use. Manufacturers will tell you that, in general, macros and micros are not compatible and require multiple tanks, e.g., tanks A and B. This practice is nonsensical as plants want ALL the nutrients at the SAME time so that the plants can grow at MAXIMUM performance. Otherwise, you get chlorosis, early senescence, pH yo-yo, low resistance to heat or cold/drought/disease, low yield and protein content, etc.
