FAQ

What is the Best Way to Use GroWonders UltraTrace and T6?

- For foliar application, dilute 6 oz/acre of GroWonders UltraTrace and 1 qt/acre for 5-10 gal of water per acre (50-100 liter of water per ha) of water. You may use less concentrate, like 1-2 oz, if crop is sensitive or very young leaves.

- USE water of good quality (always do a jar test first). If your water contains traces of sulfate or other pH raising chemicals you may try lowering the water pH to 4 or 5 with phosphoric acid, add our fertilizer and then apply immediately. NEVER mix sulfate or alkaline based fertilizers with GroWonder fertilizers.

- Our fertilizers MAY be compatible with fungicides and pesticides but we DO NOT recommend mixing with them as our fertilizers may lower too the pH of the water. JAR test and then ALWAYS test FIRST in a small field.

- Start with water, pH down if water is alkaline, T6 and finally UT.

***  We recommend lowering the pH with phosphoric acid.  Measure the pH that suits you best. ***

Can growers use less water than the recommended dilution for GroWonders UltraTrace or T6?

It is possible but, ALWAYS TEST A SMALL AREA FIRST.

Why is GroWonders products so strong?

Sulfates, nitrates and organic compounds, such as chelates, tend to separate after plant uptake of metals. Thus, most these metals may react with phosphate/sulfate forming insoluble precipitates, including gypsum and metal-phosphate.  Also, a tissue analysis of leaves is misleading as much of the metals may be unavailable, i.e. precipitated form. This is the primary reason why so much of trace metals and metal chelates are wasted, i.e., garbage in garbage out.

GroWonders products are made to have the highest uptake and compatibility.  Remember, it is quality not quantity that matters!!!

Calcium-sulfur tradeoff?

Because calcium and sulfates naturally bound to form a precipitate, gypsum, traditional fertilizers come with either calcium or sulfate. Calcium promotes growth and sulfur yield (protein and aminoacids). By providing only one or the other, plants are not growing at best. GroWonders solution is our proprietary secondary macros, CMS, a stable molecule that is fully compatible with our primary macro nutrients.

Does GroWonders UT Improve T6 yield and dry weight matter?

Yes, increased metals supply will help converting inorganic N (urea, nitrate, ammonia, etc) to organic N, i.e., protein and aminoacids.

Do I need to use sulfates?

Sulfates can precipitate calcium, forming gypsum. Gypsum may accumulate inside the plant cells resulting in early senescence.  One of the advantages of CMS is that it provides all the secondary macronutrients, calcium, sulfur and maganesium.

How long GroWonders products last?

With proper storage, T6 can last several years. UT may suffer slight degradation over time due to air oxidation.

Liming the soil?

Not recommended for several reasons.  First, it changes the pH and may cause pH yo-yo.  Second, calcium sources, such as dolomite, has a small but significant amount of natural alumina, which may accumulate and turn into toxic aluminum. Third, it may accelerate the depletion of humus.
